I just returned from my baby sister’s wedding, and it was such a fun weekend of family and beauty. I got to spend time with my dear parents who live in Cabo, and also my Grammie and Gramps, who have been an enormous inspiration in my life. The announcement that I have to make, however, is not to do with family. It’s to do with ME. 🙂
Get Fresh Coaching is live! I’m ready for you.
There are a few things that are changing and new in my world, and I want to let all my readers know that I am very excited to now be working one-on-one with clients to create inside-out results with food and lifestyle.
I’ve also just finished my book, The Diet Monster, and it will be ready to read very soon.
I can’t wait to be transitioning into the role of “Coach” in more people’s lives, and be able to use my book as a guide to help people make sustainable changes to the way they eat.
Here’s a summary of what’s been going on for me in the past few months:
1 – In June I received my diploma in Natural Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I am proud to now be a practicing ‘R.H.N.’, or Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
2 – I’ve launched a new company called Get Fresh Wellness. My mission is to help you live mindfully and eat naturally. The work I’ve done in coaching has been among the most rewarding of my life, and I can’t wait to start helping more people. I love this work.
3 – The book I’ve been writing since 2012 – The Diet Monster – is finished. I’m now in the blissful tangle of the editing process, and am aiming to have a self-published version of the book by September.
4 – My speaking gigs have begun! I’m currently creating Get Fresh Education workshops and have started receiving requests to travel to yoga studios and wellness centres to talk about Natural Eating, ditching dieting, and reaching goals around food and body with intuition, not imposition.
5 – Get Fresh TV – Fresh Food with a Fresh Attitude is a small online show I’m creating and hosting, is an upcoming collaborative effort with other professionals in the wellness industry. Look out for it, cuz the magic is going down in my basement starting real soon. 😉
6 – My new website is done! Thank you so much to Bayne, my programmer and pen-pal, for executing all the little details, and also to my friend and long-time designer, Sabrina, whose beauty and grace shows through in all her work. I love and appreciate both of these fine people very much.
To add to all these exciting changes, I’m collaborating with my good friends Jai and Sandy Braithwaite, the wonderful owners of Bikram Yoga White Rock, to host regular Get Fresh Education workshops at the studio.
They’ve also offered this quiet, healing space for meeting with my clients…it’s so perfect! Yoga and nutrition go hand in hand – as proven with the success of Nourish Juice Bar, downstairs from the studio. I’m so grateful for their support with my new venture, and ongoing faith in my work.
Entering a coaching program is truly transformative work with deeper and more lasting effects than any diet. Here’s some more information on my coaching programs, which are available for a limited time.
If you’re a coaching client in the White Rock / Vancouver area, we’ll have the option to meet on Skype, or in person at the studio where we can hang out overlooking the ocean and work together to get you on track with eating, exercise, and even meditation. If you’re long distance, we’ll have the easy-peasy option of meeting on Skype in the comfort of your own home.
I can’t even tell you how much I love this work!
Thanks so much for staying in touch. If you haven’t already, leave me your email above so we can Get Fresh together!
P.S. Email me directly if you’d like to know more about working together. I’m taking on a limited number of clients (for real), so if you’re interested, jump on it! I’d love to hear from you.
