I talk about standards a lot. One of my favourite quotes is: ‘When you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is raise your standards.’ – Tony Robbins. So why the heck would you want to lower your standards?
It’s hard being a perfectionist and exercising high standards in all areas of your life, which is why I believe we need to exercise ‘selective standards’.
So how do you know when to raise your standards and when to lower your standards? I go into it in this week’s video, and I discuss a shift that made a huge difference for me, which I call ‘Learned Mediocrity’.
